Just Doesn't Work - Windows 10....

I bought this a few weeks ago which unfortunately means Steam have rejected my refund request.

When starting the game, it freezes immediately. I managed to get it working 1 (one!) time, by forcing it into windowed mode, however that only worked one time. It now freezes immediately even with the -windowed attribute added and with the fullscreen=0 set in the .ini

It's a real shame because the one time I was able to play the game I was enjoying it. It's also pretty sh*tty of Steam to refuse a refund under these circumstances. I cannot be the only person who buys a game in a sale and doesn't try it within the first 14 days....

Try to start the game in compatibility mode windows XP that fixed it for me

I can get the game started in windows XP compatibility mode but it doesn't let me use inventory items with each other (and I'm on the few initial screens - yes I gave up and was using a walk through to see if should be able to do anything) - so I think it's still hosed. (edited to add tried windows 7 compatibility too, then gave up)
