Licensing Limitations and Moderater Censorship Involvement
I'm aware of the "Get the Best" option when you first start the game. Thus, giving the unlicensed NCAA D1 teams their actual names via the most popular user version.

In efforts to diversify the in-game team selection since CPL16 doesn't offer a divisional structure similar to its real life counterpart, I started creating Division 2 and Division 3 schools along with club programs from the MCLA and NCLL.

Yesterday, I created the Stevenson Mustangs and Salisbury Seagulls from D3. However a few hours later, I found out that both teams recieved the censorship designation. All of my other small college teams were untouched. Keep in mind, I only edited the team information and the uniform. For the roster, player names, attribute values, and jersey numbers were all copied from the on-disk college teams and not edited by myself.

Now, I want to present a few questions:

- If my teams are being censored, can I see a detail explaing the reason why they were?
- If another user selects the report option to censor, why isn't there a prompt to explain to Moderators why that created team should be censored?
- What is the penalty(ies) for another user if they falsely report another user's created team in efforts to "Troll" them.
- Does the Moderaters get the final say on what gets censored or is the censorship designation generated by the BigAnt servers?
- How does a user contact the game moderaters to notify them of this any other discrepancies?
- Is there a detailed guideine of sorts created and advised by Carlo Sunseri, Big Ant Studios, and the game moderaters detailing the do's and dont's of likeness of the college teams due to the lack of one via the CLC and NCAA?

Basically, I want to know the real reason(s) why my teams were censored, who is in charge of the protocols, and how do we, the CPL16 Community prevent other users from using techniques along the lines of "trolling" to hinder the playing experience for other users. This game will be the initial impression and introduction to lacrosse for many people.

As an avid lacrosse fan and former college lacrosse player via the University of the District of Columbia (NCAA Division 2), I would like to applaud the game creators on a job well done within this title. Many exectations were shattered amongst the years of preparation and execution. I've supported all of the titles by Crosse Studios over the years and am glad to see its maturity as a series.

Hi Grizzlyblack,

I'll address your questions first up.

1. We currently don't have functionality on PC to give the user the reason why something may get censored. If this is functionality that you think is vital for users to have we can look at the viability of adding it to the PC version.

2. Another user cannot censor another users content. There is a report function, but every report has to be read and then confirmed as to whether the report is correct or not and then it will be censored (by hand).

3. There is no penalties for a false report, but over time it's easy enough to know what is and isn't a false report.

4. Yes, we have the capability to censor, uncensor, delete or undelete teams if we believe they apply to the correct rules.

5. The best thing to do is report and use the 'SHOULD NOT BE CENSORED' option. We will figure out what's going wrong and what we can do to fix it.

As far as reasons why things are getting censored. We have certain requirements to meet across the 3 platforms when it comes to censoring text and various text entries that can be input by users. Because our Academy spans over all 3 platforms we keep things consistent, which means something censored on one platform is censored on another. Censoring will occur automatically server side when a creation is uploaded.

We have a system in place whereby we can put a word that is currently getting censored on an exemption list which will mean it no longer gets censored. The issue is coming up with the exemption list, it takes time in knowing what people are putting up on the server and then we have to go through entries to check if these words are being correctly censored or not.

We've taken notice of your creations specifically having a number of censoring issues. I do believe that most are erroneous currently (at least those I have seen) and I'm personally working to gather a list that will hopefully cover as many bases as possible. It just takes a little time.

Hopefully this answers most of what you asked. Glad to see you're enjoying the game too!
