Low framerate problems? Check here for a simple solution!
If you're getting a low framerate in the game and your PC is above the minimum requirements, there's a good chance it might because the game is using integrated graphics and not your GPU.

In order to ensure the game is using your GPU, you might need to force the setting through your graphics control board. For those unfamiliar with the process, here's some steps from a couple of our helpful forum members on how to do it for both Nvidia and ATI cards:

I figured out there is an issue with how the game handles the GPUs on the laptop. If you have your laptop setup to use Intel as default and swap over to NVidia through the profiles... it doesnt work that way it will always use your intel even though you added a profile of the game to use the Nvidia card. Before you run the game, make sure you go in and change the "Global Settings" to use the Nvidia card. After doing that I was getting 60fps @ 1080p. Hopefully there will be a fix/patch to address this in the future.

On the Radeon control panel there's a button for preferences, then select Radeon Additional settings. This brings up an older (glitchy) legacy menu and there's a section that allows you to select graphics by app. The DTOM game (ts.exe) was set to power savings. Once I changed the setting, the game now uses the GPU.

Hopefully that addresses things for anyone affected.

First the fix didn't work for me, because for some reason NVIDIA wouln't save the changes after I closed it's control panel. Once I updated my drivers, it worked.

If anyone is experiencing a tearing problem after applying these solutions (even with v-sync turned on), here's how to fix it. Turn off v-sync in game and enable it for the game in the Nvidia control panel's 3D settings. It will look something like this (sorry, it's in Russian): i.imgur.com/IwF5SSR.png I don't know to do this for AMD.

==========UPDATE=============

I reinstalled my graphics card drivers last night, disabled crossfire, took off all filtering options and set everything to default and now it's working :D hope this helps for any other AMD users!

==========UPDATE=============

AMD user here, installed this game a few days ago and it is unplayable when I change it to fullscreen O_O
I can play in windowed and I've filled with my settings and I can't seem to get anything to work full screen.
What happens is I get a black screen and maybe two or 3 frames will show up per minute if I'm lucky, the audio stutters a bit too. I can play other games with no graphical problems etc and I'm using a DESKTOP.
