Just finished the second "world", at 55 sausages now.

Twisty Farms was *incredible*. When I finally worked out how to get through...wow.

95 sausages. The only puzzle standing between me and the 4th area is Cold Cliff.
I've spent the last 3 hours trying to solve it, and I just can't seem to get it.
A slight hint would be more than welcome at this point. :p

edit: Woke up, ate a sausage, solved Cold Cliff 10 minutes later. Now at 104 sausages, 4th area is a breeze so far.

92. Finished Cold Frustration this morning, been stuck on Coldfinger and Coldcliff for the past 24 hours. Solidarity. Cliffs are cold.

Alright, 158 and it seems there's still got quite a way to go. The game is bigger than I thought.
After the 5th area [feelings spoilers] it kinfa feels like Corrypt, in a less depressing way :D

now even in my sleep deprived stressed state (not fully related to sausage game), i got past the frustration level. that was sort of dissapointing because i expected it to have some crazy solution and it didn't really, i had gotten extremely close to it many times. I shouldn't have looked at those screenshots that show that it's possible to lose the fork in that level, because then i thought that that was the way to solve the level
now i only have cold cliff left

How is the rest of the puzzle trivial after that!?

I got to area 5 with 110 sausages (and 12 hours on the clock). Crunchy Leaves was a monster!

I can see at least a 6th area beyond it but who knows. ;)

I think he meant doing this but having all the sausage in the same position (vertical), then you just have to push :)

There seems to be 2 parts to the game, first part where you lean a lot of things with the first five areas, then the second part where you apply what you know in a more linear set of levels, so technically 6 areas ? Even if le last one is MUCH bigger.

I figured out that you can block some of the white blocks from sinking when the level starts, but I don't even know if that's relevant...

I just finished Cold Cliffs, having been stuck on it for two days after finishing the rest of the cold levels. I mistakenly lumped it in with Cold Frustration as one of the more mechanically demanding levels and spent god knows how long using the ladder-sausage-overhang-combo to construct intricate sausage towers on top of the horizontal banger in the belief that I had to deposit an intricately unrolling structure on the lower level; the less that strategy prevailed, the more byzantine the hypothetical sausage solution became in my head. When it finally clicked, I felt simultaneously elated and dumb.

On an unrelated note, the syncing of the menu screen's text highlight to the beat of the music is delightful and makes me imagine a chorus of angelic voices singing "delicious sausages, delicious sausages, delicious sausages, delicious sausages, it's Stephen's Sausage Roll"

Quick update : 193 sausage, around 19 hours in.
Still haven't found the structures we can see east of the first areas, I'm guessing it's part of the endgame.

edit : Allright, I'm at 206 and in front of those structures. Definitely feels like endgame. Unless there is still a lot of levels after that / secrets, or a big amount of sausages in what I guess is the last 2 or 3 levels, it should end up around 220

Apex is not that hard compared to Ancient Dam, you don't really have a choice of what to do at first. Try to observe the end of the level, it can help, you'll get it eventually (took me a while :(). Definitely one of those scary levels that turn out not so bad :)
