Is it a silly name? Maybe. Is it silly to imagine rolling sausages around? Sure.
But it's also fun. And having fun is what I like about games. So it's ok to be a bit silly from time to time. The gameplay is solid.
(Been following the game development for a long time, so I'm really excited to see it finally released)
Jonathan Blow is a guy who complains that people are charging their phones and laptops in power outlets in cafes instead of USB ports, which is much faster than via the USB ports. If he does not understand these basic facts, why should I trust his judgement? x)
http://www.stephenssausageroll.com/ does not even have a contact page properly linked, all this sounds like money grab to me with good connections.
It's all really cohesive and brilliant. Extremely brilliant. If you have a mild interest in this game probabilities are you'll love this
I think it is more so the silly title, useless trailer, several basic screenshots being literally ALL there is to advertise the game - plus it is $30 USD. Obviously it looks like another joke that somehow made it onto Steam, and might be a refund nightmare. It seems legit unless I'm totally bonkers but can't blame people for chuckling.
I've heard nothing but insane praise for this from J Blow's tweets during the time that The Witness released.
If it wasn't for that, I would have clicked past this immediately.
I'm gonna hold back on an immediate purchase, but I definitely want to pick this up if it's considered a solid and challenging puzzle game.
The trailer video doesnt show nothing.
