Question 1: What does the level tell us about where the sausages need to end up? (for anybody who didn't figure this out yet)
Hint 1: Notice the L-shaped grill configurations and think to earlier levels with those. When you grill a sausage on one of those, how does it have to move?
Hint 2: How many L grills are there? How many sausages are there? What about their orientations?
Answer: You need the 4 horizontal sausages to end up on the grills to the west (2 on the bottom and 2 on the top), and the 4 vertical sausages on the grills to the north (2 on the bottom and 2 on the top).
Question 2: How do we get them there?
Hint 1: (The bottom ones are easy to place, clearly our main concern is the top ones). If you spear a sausage (stab into it with the fork), and carry it up the ladder, there isn't any wall you can use to un-spear it (pull it off) up there.
Hint 2: Think about how each one of the top L grills are lined up directly behind one of the bottom L grills.
Hint 3: Take a close look at the initial configuration of the sausages when you enter the level, and how they are stacked.
Answer: We need to stack 2 sausages of the same orientation on top of each other, 4 times, and then push the 4 stacks into the 4 slots in the wall. We can use the fact that the Great Tower already has them stacked up for us to make this easier. Just experiment from here to figure out how to do that.
This is a powerful technique for this game. It's pretty much the first thing I try to map out if I can't solve straight away.
(Lol, by technique I actually meant I was copying the way sekti gave hints, in the last forum post where somebody asked for hints - in pieces, headed by questions. But yes that question is a good overall technique.)
oh man you just solved a BIG mystery. I was googling "sekti" thinking it was some amazing puzzle game I'd never heard of, or a philosopher from ancient something something. But no, just a steam peep hahahahaha.
