Serious input lag with Xbox controller on Apple TV.

There's some serious latency when using my Xbox controller with Steam Link on my Apple TV. My PC and ATV is wired trough Ethernet. I can't feel the latency when using my controller in the Apple TV app menu, but I feel it when I start the stream in Steam Link app. The ATV remote also feel laggy when streaming, so I don't think it's the controller. Anyone have experienced the same?

Make sure you have set Apple TV to 4K SDR (59,94 Hz) mode and Steam Link FPS limit to Auto.

Why not 60 hz?

You may also try with 60 Hz. But main thing is to not use 50 Hz option or the HDR modes. They seem to cause increased input lag with Steam link.

You can still keep frame rate and HDR content matching on in Apple TV settings to use HDR and higher Hz when the content supports it.
