steam link app stuck in infinite loading screen

any ideas? I’ve tried an ipad and iphone and though it’s connected and my host mac says it’s streaming, I can’t get past the loading screen on my ios device.

Go to System Preferences on your Mac => Security & Privacy => Privacy tab => Scroll to "Screen Recording" and add a checkbox next to Steam. This fixed my Steam Link app streaming to my iPad and Apple TV.
