Steam Link + Nintendo Switch Pro Gyro

Hello everyone!

I tested a new Nintendo Switch Pro controller on my Raspberry Pi 4 running steamlink. The controller is connected through Bluetooth. Unfortunately, I quickly realized that the gyro was not working. I went into the controller configuration and saw that the gyro is not responding to inputs. I then plugged the controller directly to my PC and tested the gyro, which worked fine. The gyro also works on my Steam Controller when connected to the Pi 4, so the problem seems to be with 3rd party controller support for gyro inputs.

Was anyone able to make the Switch Pro gyro input work while using steamlink?

I have that problem too with my samsung tv. I connected it via bluetooth and start button, xbox button and gyro arent working

Does your xbox controller have a gyro? I thought they don't.

I ordered a 8Bitdo Wireless USB Adapter to test with my Raspberry Pi 4 running steamlink. I will report back if I can get the gyro working on the Switch Pro controller.

EDIT: I just tried with the 8Bitdo Wireless adapter and it's the same issue. The gyro doesn't work, no inputs detected. Any idea on what I could try next?

Is there perhaps something I can do to make the Nintendo Switch Pro controller behave like the Steam Controller, and therefore make the gyro work?
