Basically does the same without any shell script files excluded its all in the python file, again nothing wrong with the way you did it just think it looks neater plus i kinda like doing stuff in python

+1 for me (about the libreelec). It would replace this https://forum.libreelec.tv/thread/9844-update-moonlight-embedded-to-2-4-3/?pageNo=1 which at the time, doesn t work (and also needs an Nvidia GTX gpu to work)

can see whats possible the problem itself would be getting the nessary libs etc on there
since libreelec is closed system with no repo

Hello. Is it supposed to work with kodi installed in latest raspbian?

I have ''Failed to install from zip'' when I try to install from the file downloaded from the github, the osmc-steamlink ''shell'' is fine. Is there anything special to do with the downloaded file?

Here is an attempt to use the launcher using Kodi provided by Raspbian. Based on work from Toast.

Missing a lot of tests for the moment... Maybe this can be merged with Toast's repository later on as OSMC is Kodi based...

@v!nZ your release does not seem to work, I downloaded your zip v. 0.0.1 and it fails to install
@Toast the release 0.0.4a installs. However, when i start the addon it simply says "Starting Steamlink" and nothing happens. I also press "ok" to dismiss the window but still nothing!

Yes, I already play with it I have the 1.0.7 version. Kodi starts with the raspberry pi, and i don't want to exit kodi to click on the steamlink desktop shortcut. I installed the app from the .deb file. The shell 'steamlink' also works

Released v0.0.2 (https://github.com/bigbrozer/kodi-steamlink-launcher/releases/tag/v0.0.2). Also, take care of all requirements in README. That's the setup I'm currently using. It may not fit to everyone so please tests and send feedbacks ;-) Thx !
