Steam Link

Problem: Mouse and keyboard control is lost on raspberry pi from remote computer
Dear Valve:

Running the latest version of STEAM LINK on raspberry pi and the steam client beta using the desktop connection may lose the wireless keyboard and mouse connection. It can be duplicated and you can regain control back.

Here's the setup:
1) RASPBERRY PI with the latest version of Raspbian and steam link
2) Xbox One controller wired and connected to the raspberry pi and found in steamlink
3) Windows 10 desktop pc running latest version of STEAM BETA supporting connecting to a raspberry pi. Do not run in big picture mode.
4) Wireless keyboard and mouse (logitech with the unified receiver)

To cause mouse and keyboard to disconnect:
1) Launch steamlink on raspberry pi
2) Connect to the STEAM PC running the beta
3) Press the windows button or ANY function keys , TAB and the mouse and keyboard will no longer work
4) To regain the mouse and keyboard connection hit the xbox one wireless X power on button and control will be returned to mouse and keyboard.

Now what was noticed when I did this using desktop mode was the desktop pc after pressing the xbox button on the controller popped up the STEAM client to the front on the remote pc.
Then the mouse and keyboard controls were re-established to the raspberry pi remote desktop.

THe only way around this nuisance is pressing the xbox button on the wireless controller otherwise you'll have to go back to the remote pc every single time and click on the STEAM CLIENT window to regain control of your mouse and keyboard on the raspberry pi running steam link.
It's very annoying.
