[SOLVED] Starting Steam Link in Emulationstation
Launching Steam Link in Emulationstation

When I launch the Steam- Link App on my Raspberry PI 3B+ Modell, it says " launching" and then just goes back to the menu. The Error-Log says the following:

Parameters: Executing: xinit /opt/retropie/ports/steamlink/steamlink_xinit.sh -- vt1 -keeptty _XSERVTransSocketUNIXCreateListener: ...SocketCreateListener() failed _XSERVTran♥♥♥♥eAllCOTSServerListeners: server already running (EE) Fatal server error: (EE) Cannot establish any listening sockets - Make sure an X server isn't already running (EE)(EE) Please consult the The X.Org Foundation support at http://wiki.x.org for help. (EE) Please also check the log file at "/home/pi/.local/share/xorg/Xorg.0.log" for additional information. (EE) (EE) Server terminated with error (1). Closing log file. XIO: fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server ":0" after 7 requests (7 known processed) with 0 events remaining.



After making up a thread at Reddit, a user suggested to exit the Emulation-Station and then start the Steam Link Application - And it worked!

TL;DR If you getting this Error exit your Emulationstation and then start the Steam Link App :steamhappy:
