Steam Link not working through Retropie

I just installed Steam link through retropie, however, whenever I try to launch it through the ports menu, it shows the "launching steam link" box and then it returns to the retropie menu. I checked the logs for the runcommand.log and the logs showed the following error:

Parameters:
Executing: xinit /opt/retropie/ports/steamlink/steamlink_xinit.sh -- vt1 -keeptty
/opt/retropie/supplementary/runcommand/runcommand.sh: line 1007: xinit: command not found


I did get steamlink to work yesterday through retropie, however, I did a clean install of retropie today and I'm getting the error that I listed above.

I couldn't find a fix for using it through the packages manager, however, following the following youtube video and using the command line through retropie did seem to work.

Thanks! It's working now, just don't update it to the latest version. Looks like it have compatibility issues with retropie
