Chromecast 4 HD (GA03131-DE) - no video
I have currently purchased the newest Chromecast for my projector and installed the Android app from the Play Store.
It finds both my Steam Deck OLED and Arch Linux computer on the local network and connects to them but there is no video. Sound and controls are going through but video from Deck doesn't show up on my projector at all (black screen) and when streaming from my PC the video is straight up a corrupted still frame (very rainbowy effect but nothing resembling what is on my PC screen). The network test says that there is a good connection (100Mbit+).
I tried several video options like disabling HEVC and more but nothing helped. Could somebody maybe guide me to what I am doing wrong? Or maybe it's just that this particular Android device is not supported at all? It is a bit weird since this particular version of Chromecast should have decoding support for basically every video codec under the sun (including HEVC and new AV1).

I was able to connect with a Windows laptop with Intel integrated graphics. So the problem is somewhere on the Linux/AMD side. It still has the same problem even after many Steam OS updates. Steam Link app didn't receive any update since October so I doubt anybody even tried to look in to this problem.

They seriously need to fix this. It’s so upsetting that the steam link isn’t getting the love it needs.
