Can't find "Pair Steam Link" button on Steam for my Steam Link app

My Android Steam Link app couldn't find my pc (even though they're both on the same WiFi network) so I hit the "other computer" option and it gave me a pin code to type in and three instructions

1. Go to the Steam streaming settings on your computer
2. Click on Pair Steam Link
3. Enter this PIN to continue

It gives no instructions as to where "Steam Streaming Settings" is. I assumed it was Steam > Settings > In Home Streaming, where I have that feature set to on, but there's no "Pair Steam Link" option or place to type a pin, so Im at a loss.

You need to connect your phone to the steam account first. Its confusing because both ask for a pin. The first one will show up on your pc to put into your phone and the second is the pin under the in home streaming tab.

You need to update your steam on PC to the new beta version. (enable beta and update, and you will find that pair button in the steam link settings)

Had exactly this problem. This fixed my issue.
Steam beta option is under Account in settings, for others that see this, btw
