Function Keys???
Am I missing something? I finally figured out how to open the on screen keyboard.... But the are no F- keys. Lots of games use F keys. I can't figure out how to do it.

Steam Link uses the Android system keyboard (whatever keyboard you have enabled), and since Android doesn't use function keys, most of those keyboards don't support function keys.

You should be able to bind function keys to the macro keys for the touch controller, though, and then put those newly-made function key buttons on-screen for easy use.

Huh??? The on-screen keyboard is not the Android keyboard... You bring it up through the steamlink menu in-game. No function keys in it. And I use a controller so I can't have touch controls on.

Oh! Sorry, I misunderstood; I thought you meant the Android touch keyboard, not the Steam on-screen keyboard. Never mind.

That said, I do believe you can actually have touch controls on and a secondary controller, though, so you could theoretically use the macro buttons still. You'd pick the touch controller as the controller in the Steam Link shell, keep your other controller connected, and assign the second controller as Controller 1 in Steam if you needed to.

Orrrr..... They could add F keys to the keyboard... That would be cool. 😁
