How to disable the gyroscope when using Steam Link on a phone?

So I wanted to try out CSGO on my phone for fun and it would be almost possible to control the game but the gyroscope aiming ruins it.When I move my phone around the crosshair starts moving according to the phone,making aiming really hard.
How can I disable this?(I use touch controls,cursor is turned off)

It depends on the config of the game. When you launched the game, the Controller Configuration might've loaded a config that set the gyro to be on.

Go to Steam Overlay -> Controller Configuration -> Look at the middle of the layout and then down a bit; there should be an icon that looks like this https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/features/steam_controller/input_source#6 or a word that says Camera (for the case of CSGO)

Set Style of Input or In-Game Action to be none. That should disable the gyro. Otherwise you can adjust the sensitivity.

Since my last post, there has been an update to the app that allows gyro to be toggled in the app via the Steam Link Tray menu, so here are the updated instructions for turning off/on gyro.

To enable gyro, there are two places where it must be enabled: in Controller Configuration via the overlay (or Big Picture Mode) and in the Tray menu [...] via the Steam Link app.

• When in-game, open the Steam overlay -> Controller Configuration -> press the gyro button (located along the middle of the screen, right below the controller) -> set a Style of Input. For example, for FPS and third person games, set the Style of Input to Mouse and adjust the sensitivity as needed; for games with native Steam Input support, this may be called something else.
  
• In the app, open the [...] menu and the gyro toggle is located on the left side, below the Touch Controller toggle. Pressing this will enable/disable gyro for all games that you play.
  
  • Note that if the gyro's Style of Input is not set in Controller Configuration for that game, gyro will not work, even if this gyro button is set to enabled in the app.

In other words, to disable gyro, open the [...] menu in the app and toggle the gyro button. To enable gyro, open the [...] menu in the app and toggle the gyro button, and if gyro still isn't working, then check that a Style of Input has been set for the gyro in Controller Configuration.

now can i connect to steam link without router? directly trough laptop wifi, like ps vita did to ps4 no router needed
