"Everyone please call Samsung customer service (via the support option on the TV) to get attention to this bug. When I called, they said I was the first report."
I just got my Xbox controller yesterday and All the game were unplayable bc this bug.
)
it seems that Samsung allow now the control of the tv with mouse, keyboard and controller. It's a new feature with the latest update.
So it seems that apps that use an controller have to change something in their app code. The new Xbox app and GeForce now apps work normal until you start steam link app, after that also the Xbox and GeForce app change the Volume when moving left stick, till restart of the tv. So it seems to be the steam link app that have something to update.
I love when developers change a main behavior because "that would be cool" where most people don't care to steer their tv with an game controller..
Within the Samsung thread someone comment that the steam support is aware of this and change will come (whenever)
The Steam Link app on Samsung TVs seems to be pretty much abandoned.
A proper public statement from Valve and/or Samsung on support for the app is *long* overdue!
PS It also lacks many modern features, including the option to work remotely. I particularly hate that it doesn't have support for 5.1 sound, unlike Steam Link hardware and apps etc, which makes it essentially useless to me. Why bother with 4K and not 5.1 sound?
