Streaming stops after about 20-30 minutes

I've been playing Steam Link on my Sony Android smart TV for about a year now. When we first started using the app, it worked fine for months. But around February or March (maybe earlier, not sure) it started having a problem where after 20-30 minutes of streaming, it would suddenly stop working. It kicks me out to the "Connect to Computer" screen on the app, and when I reconnect Big Picture thinks my game isn't running.

But the game is running, and trying to start it back up results in the "App already running" error. I have to go downstairs to the computer and close the game in order to fix it. If I don't close the game, I can change focus to the game and that lets me play, but the game no longer recognizes the input as a controller and gives me keyboard prompts.

This happens in every game I've tried. It happens repeatedly and consistently.

I'm not sure what to do to fix the issue. I've tried changing quality, bandwidth, and other settings. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I got it working after all! Eventually I realized it was because I'm running an ethernet cable from the wall to a second router (with wi-fi disabled) and then to my PC (and my wife's PC, hence the need to split the wire). The second router was interfering with the connection.

So I bought a proper Ethernet Switch and hooked that up today, and it's working flawlessly! Thank you so much for all the help!
