Samsung Q6FN Steam Link and Wireless Controllers
Having some problems with wireless controllers, Steam Link and my new Samsung Q6FN. Have searched around but it's really hard to find useful advice, especially as the situation has changed extensively over the last 2 years.

I own a whole bunch of potentially suitable controllers:

PS3 Dual Shock 3
PS4 Dual Shock 4
Xbox 360 Wireless
Xbox One Wireless

So far all but the DS3 have worked fine with the Samsung Steam Link when wired, although for some reason the Xbox 360 controller only seemed to work with half the buttons - the L2/R2 buttons and stick buttons didn't work at all in my test with The Witcher 3. Something about it thinking it's an Xbox One controller seemed to be the only info I could find.

I could get the DS4 controller to be seen by the Samsung TV wireless, it synced to the TV as a bluetooth device, but I could get no response from Steam at all.

I couldn't get the Xbox One or 360 wireless controllers to be seen by the TV at all, perhaps I need some additional accessory for these? I'd rather avoid that.

My ideal situation would be to have the 360 or Xbox One controllers to work wirelessly as I prefer the feel of them (in fact I prefer the 360 over the Xbone), and I don't really use by Xbone any more. I'd rather not use the DS4 as I'd have to constantly re-pair it between my PS4 and TV.

Can anyone help? Thanks!

So I bought an 8bitdo Retro Receiver yesterday.

I still can't work out how to connect anything.

Can anyone help? Samsung say it's Steam, Valve say it's Samsung.
