Offer SGSR[www.qualcomm.com] support to upscale the image on the headset's end.
This smart sharpening filter looks quite good in Virtual Desktop. Since it upscales and sharpens to a resolution higher than the headset's, it makes the image quality look quite crisp, especially on text and UI elements.

My favorite settings in Virtual Desktop are Graphics set to High with SGSR turned on, as opposed to Graphics set to Godlike without SGSR. It personally looks better than just running a higher resolution.

I do not know if GSR has any licensing required, or anything of the sort, but it should definitely still be considered to be implemented in Steam Link VR.
