We are gonna need a lot more information than that to troubleshoot.

* What CPU/GPU Combo are you using?
* What router are you using?
* What system are you using to connect to the host PC? Steam Link? Quest Link? Air Link? Virtual Desktop?

* What if any errors do you see on your host PC?
* What errors if any do you see in headset?

And let us know what you find!

Hi Charlesl, thanks for responsing,

When I click connect in steamlink, steam on my laptop will enter big picture mode, I want to know is that normal?

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX with Radeon Gra phics
GPU: NVDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU 16384 MB, I just updated the driver from NVDIA
router: spectrum router SAX1V1S

I use Steam Link to connect,

error info in headset: connection error, Couldn't start streaming on the remote computer:

info in steamVR: waiting headset connection.

I just restart everything and tried again today, still failed.

Is it possible your Steam hasn't updated? That behavior should only be possible on older copies of Steam before we added extra logic for Steam Link VR into it. Or at least I'm only aware of that. Can you try to reinstall Steam?

Also, can you confirm what version of SteamVR launches?

It works after I changed my steam language from chinese to english, I guess maybe the quest and steam should keep the same language
