Quest 2 Error Code: 200 / Host not Responding
When i start running steam link on my quest 2, everything runs fine for about 15 seconds and then the stream becomes blurry, freezes, frames significantly cut and then a looping of error code: 200, which then leads to "Host not Responding: try restarting SteamVr" and then it says "error resolved" only go back to a couple seconds of the choppiness and then continue the cycle of those error codes.

I've scoured several steam discussions as well as reddit post and have tried these solutions and they have all failed to fix the connection:
- Restarting my computer, (and headset, and SteamVr, and router)
- Changing WIFI - connection to private
- Changing the bandwidth to less than 70
- Changing the encoded width to <1280
- Updating to SteamVr Beta
- Updating my Nvidia Drivers (Currently 546.33)

Some potential solutions that i haven't tried due to general inconvenience:
- Moving setup closer to router

For my specs, i am currently running:
- Windows 11 on a laptop (with gigabit internet)
- RTX 3070
- 16 gb RAM
- Ryzen 7 5800H. Running on gigabit internet.

It sounds like you've gone through a lot already, but something to help move this along would be if you can get a screen shot of the "SteamVR Remote Detailed Debug" by opening SteamVR settings, enabling advanced settings, opening the Steam Link submenu and then enabling "Show Debug Graph"

This issue may be a duplicate of https://steamcommunity.com/app/250820/discussions/3/4036979087646789079/ it may be worth examining that ticket and seeing if it appears that you guys are having similar problems.

Im having the exact same issue on a laptop with the same specs, updating graphics drivers to 546.33 worked yesterday but the error resumed this morning

i have also noticed that steam is still accepting input from the headset and that the game is still rendering perfectly on the laptop while the error window is up, although it still drops the controller input
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

1. Can you confirm that disabling/enable this does reliably cause issues? If so, I can add this to our FAQ.

2. Does having this enabled cause a failure from the beginning or only after a few moments of streaming?

1. I went into my Lenovo Vantage and turned off network booster and steam link now works perfectly fine! I turned network booster back on to test if that was the issue and it seems as though that was what was causing that issue.
2. Now having it enabled doesn't cause failure at the start of steam link, it only starts to run super choppy (but work fine on the computer) only after about 15 seconds.
3. Additional information: It also looks like Undefined and I have the same laptop which is a Lenovo Legion 5 pro and the issue stemmed from the exclusive Lenovo Vantage app.

I tried to solve this problem for two weeks.
It works for me too.
Thanks.
