Feature Request: Allow use for link cable

Can you please make it so we can use a link cable, my WiFi and many others is not good enough for streaming. The Oculus software is terrible and I would much rather use Steam directly as that's where most of my games are.

That's not doable. Meta controls the drivers for the HMD, not Valve.

its possible. steam just needs to allow custom client discovery and being able to change the link protocol so that you can connect to the headset over USB using ADB forwarding. But Valve wants to simplify and streamline SteamVR/SteamLink as much as possible so doesnt seem like something they would add.

this would be so nice love the steam tools and community anything ta streamline peeps in is great. So teh only way to use our link cables now is via the oculus app?
