steamlink vr audio issues with voicemeeter
the virtual audio system doesn't play well with voicemeeter, while the audio isn't going through to steam streaming speakers I've found it boils down to the internal auxiliary socket (AUX) virtual device, the sound it's getting is garbled and it's just noise.

Even then the audio from AUX virtual device is not getting to the Steam Streaming Speakers. Could we get some fix so we can integrate steam link better into our audio interface systems? (voicemeeter but there are more)

I've been looking in to this as well and I have had the same results, Can't run any of the Steamlink through Voicemeeter. Audio signal gets static. Tried

**UPDATE**

I think I found a moderate amount of success. I'm currently running VM Potato on Win 11, Quest 3 Headset. Here is the break down of what I did....

================================
--Under System/Sound/More Sound Settings : Under All of the Audio interfaces that will be used, under Properties/Advanced I've set the "Default Format" to 16bit 48000Hz. This was done under for the "Playback" & " Recording " Tabs.

(playback tab interfaces I've changed)
VM Input
VM Aux
VM VAIO3
VB-Audio Virtual Cable
Steam Streaming Speakers
Steam Streaming Mic
Oculus Virtual Audio
Focusrite USB Audio

(Recording Tab Interfaces I've changed)
VM Out
VM Out Aux
VM Out Vaio3
VB-Audio Virtual Cable
Steam Streaming Mic
Oculus Virtual Audio Device
Focusrite USB Audio

--For Windows Default Sound setting I've set it to the "VM VAIO3 OUT" &
"VM VAIO3 IN" . {System/Sound/ Volume Mixer; Input & Output.}
(no reason, just wanted it there)

**VM Router Layout for each interface**
NOTE: MME WAS SELECTED FOR ALL OF THE INTERFACES, Except for my Focusrite

--Audio Input Routing Path for VM
A1 = Focusrite AISO for Microphone ( Set under the VM System setting/option; Patch input 1&1)
A2 = VB-Virtual Audio Cable
A3 = HeadPhones - Oculus Virtual Audio
A4 = Steam Streaming Mc
A5 = N/A

Audio Output Routing Path for VM
A1 = Focusrite USB AISO
A2 = VB-Audio Virtual Cable
A3 = Headset Microphone - Oculus Virtual Audio
A4 = Steam Streaming Speaker
A5 = N/A

--StreamLink
When Steamlink is running with the Quest Headset, for Steamvr settings and under Audio, I set my Audio output device set to VM Aux input.

I Get Audio sound from my headset speakers and the Mic Pics up my voice on Input A4. I've tested this also by logging into VR Chat and confirmed that I can hear and speak with other players in the game

I've only ran these settings via wireless settings, I don't have a data cable yet. (coming in a few days)

I'm sorry if this is a lengthy post but I wanted to make sure I covered all my settings and arrangements. I hope this helps everyone and I'll post as soon as I can if I run in to issues
