Encoded video size limited to 1024 px with a AMD GPU?

Anyone with a AMD GPU managed to turn Encoded video size beyond 1024? Everytime I turn it higher then that it just resets to 1024 by itself. Even if I directly edit the settings file it just resets it.
I have a AMD 6800 if it matters at all. Not even sure if its a AMD thing.

Do you know if this is still the case for the 9070 XT? I can't seem to find any information online
