No Mic when connected with Quest 2
Just got Steam Link installed on my quest 2 and everything seems to be working fine except I can't seem to be able to use my quest mic at all, I've cycled through every mic that shows up in the VRChat mic selection menu but none are the quest mic.

A couple of my friends have also used steam link for their quest and can't get the mic working, has *anyone* gotten their mic to work?

Same issue here. Hopefully there's a quick fix cause so far this is my favorite wireless solution for the quest 2.

I had some luck with this increasing the volume of the mic to max in the steam menu its on the bottom left in vr near the settings the icon looks like a volume speaker. It was set to half the max as default and windows wasn't picking it up I just needed to max it out. Hopefully this helps

1. Please Update to the new SteamVR Beta and see if it works any better.
2. We have updated the audio section under the "Troubleshooting" section of our FAQ. https://steamcommunity.com/faqs/steam-help/preview/0E2C-406B-9135-38A4
3. We are still examining an issue with the installation of the Steam Streaming Audio drivers. We will roll out the update when we find a resolution.

may be worth it to make sure the internal aux jack that steam streaming software uses isn't blocked by your operating system. If it's windows 11, open: Settings > Sound > All Sound Devices > Input Devices > Internal Aux Jack (Steam Streaming Speakers) and allow windows to use the device for audio

Haven't been on windows 10 in a hot minute so i don't know where it'd be on there or any other OS, Hope you can get the problem fixed M8

We just released an updated Steam Beta that may resolve your issue if the other items in this thread did not work out. Please update your Steam to the Beta Client under the "Interface" section of your Steam Settings and restart Steam.
