[Feature request] Disable controller data passthrough
The ability to launch Steam Link on quest without controllers and to also disable hand tracking data passthrough for use with other controllers such as knuckles, wands, or swords. Like how Virtual Desktop does it!

I don't know the specific use case you are trying for but, we just released a tweak in the Beta that reduces the priority for "Always on" controllers, like the Quest controllers when paired to a Quest headset. This should allow for easier use of mixed input systems.

I'm trying to run Index controllers with quest pro. Problem is the QPro controllers always wake up and sometimes make their way through to VRChat, then show up in my playspace as "trackers" and mess with my full body tracking. We need a way to remove the quest controllers from steamvr completely or a toggle to make them not come through to steamvr, which would leave them usable in the Quest menus/Steamlink Quest app menus.

Currently trying unpairing QPro controllers and turning off hand tracking and launching steamlink with the head tracked dot/the minus button to click. Issue with this is I believe there's no way to press the menu/system button and if the steamlink app has any issues or prompts I have no way to click through them.

Currently, Index controllers take over, and we no longer auto-assign roles for things like Quest controllers if they appear as trackers. You should not need to disable the controllers at the headset level in order to utilize hybrid tracking with your system.

Can you elaborate more about your issue with interference between the Quest pro controllers and VRChat?

Sometimes the pro controllers end up thinking they're in my play space. Typically this isn't an issue but in vrchat when I calibrate my full body tracking, a pro controller will be close enough to an elbow or knee that it will join my full body setup.

This can be remedied by calibrating elsewhere or setting the pro controllers further away, but it would be slightly more convenient to have the option to block them from showing in steam VR at all. Virtual desktop offers a checkbox for this.
