Ability to disable Automatic default audio device switching

I have an audio setup using a GoXLR and other audio tools, with profiles ready for when i'm in VR (using the vr microphone and other stuff all outputing into one final microphone input)
The problem is that everytime i launch steam link it forces the vr microphone to become the default devices, so i ALWAYS have to open the advanced audio settings to set everything back to how it was.

Open SteamVR settings to the Audio tab and you can override the default VR devices or select System Default to disable switching.
