Pixel Buds Pro blasts loud noise into my ears

I connect my Pixel Buds Pros into my Steam Link via bluetooth. When the link connects to my desktop, a very loud static noise rings through the buds into my ears.

My ears actually still kinda hurt from the sound. Can this get patched out please???

how are they with the link menu sounds before connecting?

you can change the volume on host pc streaming speakers

The link menu sounds are normal. Streaming games from the PC has a normal volume too. But this blast of sound that happens through the earbuds are max volume! It's way louder than what's supposed to be and it might actually be damaging
