Steam Link App unavailable

I was just trying to get Remote Play to work, but the "Steam Link app" for Windows is nowhere to be found. The landing pages on Steampowered regarding remote play form a loop that never leads to any download link whatsoever. The only thing I found was a community link: https://steamcommunity.com/app/353380/discussions/8/3105764348181505385/

It is hard to believe that Valve is unable to provide the software they are teasing on their Steam Link (hardware) site: https://store.steampowered.com/app/353380/Steam_Link/

No, it is not available!
Also, there does not seem to be an official guide for remote play.

steam link is now part of the steam client. just log into the same steam account on the other pc and you can choose to play your game on the other machine

Thanks for your advice.
The 4th video I watched on how to get this to work actually explained the current workflow.

My main reason for my post above was to point out that the info provided by Valve, the provider of this service/program, is outdated. I ususally follow the developer's advice if I am not sure which is the correct/current way how it is supposed to work. But in this case that is the wrong direction :-(

You don't install Steam Link on Windows OS.
If both machines have Windows OS, then install and log into Steam Client on both machines. The machine you wish to Stream to, the Steam Client will show a Stream Play option for your Games that are installed on the host PC.
