PS3 Controller anyone?
I cannot see why it isn't supported (at least it doesn't say so in the store page) even though SteamOS does support it.

Its working great. I just started using the PS3 controller (plugged in) to play Portal 2. I love my Steam Link!

Confirming PS3 works, but only wired.

Maybe we just have to put the Mac-Adress of the Links-Bluetooth-Controller in the PS3-controller?

El ♥♥♥♥♥♥/Biowolf, did you use a bluetooth-dongle that you plugged in your steam-link? If not, then this might be something to try out. I'm thinking of getting a steam-link but I only own a PS3 controller and I don't want to invest into another controller just for gaming on my TV right now.

you have to buy a ps3 controller adapter for pc. I recommend Mayflash brand, theirs is wireless and works pretty well. It emulates the xinput (xbox contoller) for the ps3 controller. You can only have one controller per adapter for xinput use

I was able to get two PS4 controllers paired with bluetooth. However I tried playing Portal 2 coop split screen and it recognizes both controllers as a single controller in the game. Pretty disappointing.

Cool that you at least got it to pair. Can you provide a link to what you've done?
Please report here if you managed to get it working properly on any game.

I just don't get this. PS3 is using mostly open protocols while xbox360 was using closed stuff. Is xbone1 using open protocols now or why is it easier to set that up?

I just got the Link today and when I plugged in the ps3 controller it worked just fine. Then I unplugged it and it still worked.

I was amazed, but quickly disappointed. The controller was extremely laggy.

I believe the controller was connected to my PC in the other room because as I walked closer to the room the lag went away.

I'm wondering about getting a bluetooth range extender. But after talking to my friend, who knows a thing or two about computers, told me it probably wouldn't help.

Any ideas?

Have you tried unpairing it with your PC in the other room and then pairing it with the PC that you want to use?
