Co-op using TV and PC?
So can you play co-op games with one person on the PC and another player using Steam Link?

Yes if they support local multiplayer, I tested this on The Cave using IHS. The downside is that only the client gets the audio, not both.

No you cant, the link device works same as having steam os install. The system will share the screen of the game from the PC to the TV. So will see your self playing i both. The system will lock your machine so no one else can use it while your streaming to the TV. This is an issue was there since the start of SteamOS and they havent really addressed it. You can maybe do local co-op. AKA split screen play but is like intiaLiseD said only audio will be on the TV. So local coop split screen with audio only on the TV is possible. But no coop multiplayer where each player has its own screen like a local lan game.

Maybe I should claify, it works for games that support Local Multiplayer like The Cave, Never Alone, Worms, Lego Games, you know the kind of game that's great to play with your kids.

It's all right. I did mean the splitscreen because my current monitor is quite small so I could use the TV right next to me to make it easier to play with friends and family without having to squash together. Thanks for the help!

I have antother question some games like gang beats or screencheat have a 4 player split screen right. Is there any support for 4 player usb controller input? A 360 controller needs a microsoft reciver to be wireless and some bleuthoot controllers to right. Does this box support any of that. Or can the usb information be streamed to your pc and sended to the game? BTW does this thing only runs with Steam Big picture or does it stream your whole pc. Does this thing also have usb gaming mice and keyboard support (macrokeys dpi settings)?

This is only a steam device not a full on PC. I don't know if I should be saying this on steam but I suggest you get the new Alienware console because that goes on steam and acts as a PC.
