FIFA 22 and Xbox One Controller
Hey all,

So I'm trying to stream FIFA 22 (Origin version) to my Steam Link (latest beta version) connected to my TV, but I'm having issues with Xbox One Controller.

I have Xbox Controller dongle, and when it's connected to my PC everything is working fine, no matter if I launch FIFA directly or using Steam Big Picture mode.

When I connect my Xbox One controller to the Steam Link (using Bluetooth or Xbox Controller dongle), it's working fine inside Steam Big Picture mode, that's being cast form my PC to TV. However it does not work inside FIFA 22 when I launch it, when using Xbox One Controller configuration in Steam. This works fine with other games, also Steam Controller is detected and working fine inside FIFA.

When Xbox One Controller configuration if off, it is detected by as Keyboard and Mouse.

I've Googled quite a lot for a solution and tried various settings like "Forced On", "Forced Off" etc.So the final issue looks like:Steam Link > Xbox Controller > FIFA 22 - Not workingSteam Link > Steam Controller > FIFA 22 - WorkingSteam Link > Xbox Controller > Any other game - WorkingPC > Xbox Controller > FIFA 22 - Working

Steam Controller is detected as keyboard and mouse in game, so that's why it works. So it seems that controllers streamed via Steam Link are not recognized ingame.

Edit.
Solved.
You need to use https://github.com/WombatFromHell/OriginSteamOverlayLauncher
Works with Origin and EA app.

without using the dongle can the xbone controller control the host?

each controller can have its own mappings for bpm/desktop/chord and each game

begin streaming -> steam -> settings -> controller -> [general]
select a controller -> [identify] (it will vibrate) -> [preferences] -> give it an easily identifiable name, ex. 'tv xbone white'

then when you config bpm/desktop/chord and games controls you can select each controller and map its controls

Thanks for the replay. Finally I've managed to solve it using OSOL. Edited the first post in case anyone comes here looking for a solution to the same problem.
