Steam Link

Prevent Steam from Turning Off after 15 minutes Idle (i.e. Watch Netfl!x uninterupted!)
Simple solution. Found this fix, because I wanted to watch Netflix via Steam Link Browser, and the silly thing kept turning off!

1. Download this zip[dl.pushbulletusercontent.com], and extract the contents to a thumb stick / pen drive.

2. Modify the values within the text files in the lowest tree of the folders to change time (in seconds) for the link to suspend. Default is 12 hours ( that should be enough, eh?).

3. Unplug the power jack from the Steam Link.

4. Insert Pen Drive / Thumbstick (with the previous folders inside) into a USB slot on the Link device.

5. Replug the steam link.

At this point you should see steam link icon flash on the screen. Do not remove USB stick until you are fully connected to system. The USB stick can be removed once connected, and the change should persist over reboots (Unless an update occurs).

Hope this is useful for some of you.

Note: You can edit the two text files prior to moving them to the pendrive if you still want your steamlink to auto-standby earlier than 12 hours.

43200 is the number of seconds in 12 hours. So change that to whatever you like; in seconds.

You can also change it in the sleep settings on the latest build
