Very nice to hear! Did you try 4 player as of yet?
Alright. But, thanks for confirming a hub works. Hopefully, there is no lag or issues with 4+ gamepads plugged into one.
I tried everything but I don't even have the option to remap my keys and the default B key for me is mapped to the ESC key which messes up anything I try to play
How did you do it?
Are you running in desktop mode? I'm keeping my programs running fullscreen and the controller inputs get handed off without an issue.
I added my UI frontend (EmulationStation) to Steam and then just load retroarch cores from there. The controller inputs never get converted to keyboard inputs. The inputs just get handed off down the chain. Try that, and it should "just work".
EmulationStation does not help me out very much.
Thanks
Valve rep @henryg mentioned that:
"Any powered USB 2.0-compatible hub will work. Unpowered hubs may or may not work, depending on the total power consumption of the devices you plug in."

For anyone looking for a USB hub to connect multiple devices to the Steam Link, I ordered the "AmazonBasics 7 Port USB 2.0 Hub with 5V/4A Power Adapter" and was able to run 4 wired xbox 360 controllers, a wireless keyboard receiver, and a wireless mouse receiver from my Steam Link. I was previously unable to connect these devices with an unpowered hub.
Thanks for the recommendation. I've been having slight connectivity issues with an unpowered hub. This may be the solution!
