Bottom navigation in big picture browser

I was pleased to see that there were some web browser included on big picture mode+steam link.
However I tried on youtube and I was unable to remove bottom bar which contains some steam shortcuts, even in fullscreen mode.
I've looked into option (overlay, web browser) but I find nothing working.

Please do you know how to remove that bottom bar on web browser?

Yep me three. Overall the browser is pretty horrendous. Might actually be worse than the ps3 browser. I just minimize big picture and bring up youtube in chrome.

We need to be able to get rid of that bar. Either is it to large or appearing too often or both.
It also displays scrollbars on top of already existing ones.

The bottom navigation bar also blocks full screen images and the steam emoticon menu, preventing the use of the blocked emoticons

I appreciate the addition of being able to use the steam emoticons in big picture but the fact that I'm not able to click on all of them because of this obnoxiously large bottom navigation bar is pretty frustrating

Exit big picture mode and use your desktop browser until the app sdk is released. In the very near future YouTube and the such will have official support

I don't have the bottom bar anymore (sooooooooooo cool), so I don't really understand your problem.
But have you ried to move your keyboard ? You can do tha by clickin the 'x' button while tippping.

I have the bottom bar and I would prefer to use Steam web browser.
Does anybody know how to remove or hide the bottom bar?

Sorry to bump this but I never noticed this until recently. Now the bottom bar follows me everywhere. Any ideas?

I noticed if you have a controllor on it goes away, but if you are just using a remote keyboard and mouse, nada.

Sadly no solution yet, just be sure to have a controller active in Big Picture. If it does not detect a controller then that lovely bar haunts you :(
