Microphone through steam link

Hello,

I want to play ultrastar through my steam link.
I have two singstar microphones that work with ultrastar when connected directly to my PC, however when I connect them through the steam link my pc does not detect them being connected & therefore ultrastar does not boot (need mic).

How can i have microphone inteface with steam link, such that it appears connected to PC upstairs?

That is an interesting question. As I should receive my Steam Link soon and I am a big player of Ultrastar, I was wondering what is possible.
Did you find a way to have the microphones working through the Link?

I have not been able to achieve anything of the sort. I gave up. It really should be serviced tho. I'm guessing they need usb drivers for microphone to be included in steam link.

It would be great if Valve would support the Singstar adapter through USB. However, I can imagine that it's more difficult to send over voice data (given that it's time critical) than to "simply" send over input commands.

Heck, I could code up an FPGA, give valve the RTL and they could build an asic out of it for the next steam link.
However I've got no response from them. It's such a shame.

Habe you tested virtualhere? It's quiet expensive but i seems to get USB headsets working. If not you could still refund.

It's really sad that there is still no microphone support build in. My guess is that virtualhere is paying bigbugs to valve or at least the sales oft vh and their for the royalties for vlave are big enough to prevent them from implenting it. There are so many people who want to get their HS Wirkung if you just Google for it.
