ALSO, games that have a 'borderless windowed' mode seem to work for me as well. It seems that the steam link is unable to see the full screen games with additional launchers, so I would see if your games have a borderless windowed mode setting.
Not sure what changed since, but I've not even got control of the menus again.
So no, it's not fixed. Real shame, my favourite game right now is far cry 4 and I have to sit at my desk in my office of an even when I could be relaxing on a sofa.
Have you tried closing UPlay completely before launching the game from an added Non-Steam Game Link? This seems to let controller inputs pass along correctly on Origin games like Star Wars Battlefront, and I wondered if it might help UPlay users out, too.
