How to change the audio device remote play uses
I have kind of a niche setup, because I use separate virtual audio devices for different applications, but i've setup one of them that recombines all of the different audio streams into one for streaming to my TV or phone. Using Parsec or Sunshine + Moonlight, I can select the audio device that gets transmitted, so I still get all of the audio that comes from my PC. But Steam Remote Play always selects whatever is the default device, so I only get audio that gets played through that device. Is there a way to select a different device for Remote Play to use, except for changing the default device? I know I can force an application to use a different device through Windows volume mixer, but Remote Play doesn't expose an application to the volume mixer to select a device for. I would use Parsec or Moonlight for the purpose of streaming my PC to my TV or phone, but Steam Link is the only application which lets me seamlessly switch between both of my monitors by just dragging my mouse between the two.

Any help would be appreciated.

disable all unused audio devices in windows audio control panel

windows has trouble switching between the last 2 used
so when steam enables/disables it, windows can switch to it

Getting audio isn‘t the issue, I just want to define a different audio device than what is the current default.
