connection problem

I used to play NBA2K24 on steam remote play with my friends(He invite me to his party), and it works perfectly. However, I upgrade my bandwidth from 100M/40M to 500M/500M,
and it shows slow network when i was playing, the game become a little bit laggy, can someone tells me why? And the weird thing is that when I connected the wifi on my pc, it works perfectly as well, I mean isn’t Ethernet more stable? I'm so confuse.
