While I get what you're saying, that's absolutely insane. There has to be some way to purchase an additional power adapter without buying another $50 Steam Link.
I completely agree, I *want* to give Valve my money for an official replacement, but I don't want to pay $50 for a second steam link when all I need is the power cord.
Does anyone know any additional way to get in touch with Valve to see what possibilities there are? I'm finding literally nothing on this front, anywhere.
That's what I've been doing, unfortunately, it doesn't seem like anything really matches the 5.1v=2.5A that I'm looking for (based off the Power Supply), or it's just ONE result from a company with really crappy reviews.
I'm just disappointed & frustrated that there doesn't seem to be any option at all to replace this one (relatively cheap) component.
For reference: it's a 5.1v 2.5A power supply.
You can open a ticket at https://support.steampowered.com/newticket.php
- Steam Link - Missing/Damaged Parts
Search Field: power supply

Only games show up with no option to continue!
As the other poster said, basically all the support links do is route me back to here. There's no way for me to actually submit a support ticket.
You can still submit a ticket using the link, however, you'll want to search for "Steam Link" in the product box and it should work from there.
1. Go here: https://support.steampowered.com/newticket.php
2. Select Steam Hardware
3. Select Steam Link - Missing/Damaged Parts
4. Type in "Steam Link" and click on the Steam Link product
5. Follow the ticket instructions under Step 2
Let us know if you run into any issues. Thanks!
Thank you - I'm filling that out presently, and will let you know.
I definitely appreciate the guidance!
The Steamlink power supply is 2.5 amps whereas the above link leads to only 2.0 amps. Could cause trouble.
I went through with these steps, and they actually sent me another power supply free of charge:
So i would definitely give that a shot, before purchasing a small adapter that may or may not ruin your steamlink.
