Steam Link

Steam Link

Nvidia shield pro (2019) or apple TV 4k 2022 128gb?
Looking to stream games from my pc to my lg c1 that is in another room since it doesn't have the steam link app. I would be using a mesh wifi 6 system (deco AX3000)
I've been looking through the internet and seems like the nvidia shield pro and the apple TV 4k are the best for that task, but haven't decided on which one to get, I will be using a nintendo switch pro controller for playing games.
Another point is that where I live the apple TV is slightly cheaper (like 30 us dollars).
A bit worried that the shield is 4 years old at this point (not in performance, but in future support since they killed gamestream and I was planning on using it originally).
So what do you guys think will be the best option? :HFR_Happy:

Wanting to buy the Shield also but i believe there is going to be a new Shield in 2024 with better hardware. (Using the same hardware like switch2)

Not sure about it, since I saw some similar rumors, but for it to be released on 2023.
And with the discontinuation of game-stream, I'm not sure, but if we heard something probably might be on CES next month?

I'm using the cheap FireTV 4K stick (not the max, but I've got that one laying around to replace my regular 4K version), and it works perfectly, so no need to buy an expensive Shield or Apple TV. Use (sideloaded) Movian app for streaming movie from my PC.

of host pc and client, and all network gear are wired gigabit, it will be fine
wifi, ymmv, depending on if all gear can transfer at 150+mb/s with minimum lag
