But now you stuck with terible resolution and small blackbars on a sides instead of GIGANTIC up and dow blackbars. And it doesnt work on all games some continue to run in micro screen on TV.
link menu -> settings -> streaming -> advanced
Why is it not default......who makes software in these days ... monkeys.
so yea
old pbm was much easier
to force steam to no longer update automatically
create a file with name 'tmp' (no extension)
and put it in steam client updating folder
..\Steam\package\
im having another issue on some games. I can see steam logo as loading when runing the game. Then i hear sound like when you disconnect mouse or keyboard or any USB and screen goes black on TV. But you can hear game sound.
Meanwhile on PC game displays ok.
never happend before This Big picture change.
p.s.
if i exit steam big picture and run through regular steam library menu game displays OK on tv. But controllers dont work.
on host
steam -> settings -> remote play -> [advanced client options] -> untick touch
game starts running in a background.
i can see game on pc and everything works
But on tv its black screen and game sounds. But controllers on tv also dont work.

steam -> settings -> ingame -> untick steam overlay
or per game
steam -> library -> select game -> gear -> properties -> untick overlay
