Adjusting Display size?
Got Steamlink setup yesterday, running xcom 2 from win 10 pc. Updated steamlink s/w, then turned on game. Display a little too big for tv screen. Consulted group discussions, and tried 2 options. #1 - change tv screen resolution to GAME mode. That only seemed to sharpen the display some, but did not change the size.

#2 access settings/display in steamlink. When I do that, I have a small window in the middle of the screen that says "Adjust image to fit display" with a progress graph underneath. At the screen corners, are the shaft end of arrows. ((the actual arrow points are off the screen)

I'm using a usb mouse and keyboard thru steamlink that seem to function perfectly. BUT.. I cannot "grab" the arrow point/s and pull back, to adjust the screen size. I can't see any other way to shrink the screen.

Help, please. Thanks in advance.

On a controller, you would hit L/R to adjust the size.

With a mouse, you can click the slider bar and the size will be adjusted.

With a keyboard, you could use the L/R arrows.

Moving the bar to the right makes the screen smaller which is kind of strange. But it works!

And THAT was it! Thanks a TON!
I have no controller, so that was out.
My mouse is just a small, cheap 2 button one with no slider or wheel.
The L - R arrows on the keyboard did it. (I never would have thought that)
Thanks again!

Great!

With a mouse I mean you can actually click the percentage bar on the screen and put it where you want, a 2 button mouse without wheel would work fine.

I will try that again, but I must have clicked inside that box 200 times. It is possible that I didn't click on the actual % bar. Now I'm curious.......

You are absolutely correct, clicking on the % bar DID work. That said, I was serious when I said I must have clicked in that box 200 times. (I wasn't clicking on anything in particular, except for the text itself) How it's possible I missed that graph altogether, I'm not sure.

Thanks again! You've done your good deed for the day. Temper that with the knowledge that my wife and grandkids will now pout because I'll spend too much time playing XCom 2. (just kidding)
