How to use multiple PS4-controller

Hi everyone,

yesterday my new Steamlink arrived, so far I'm pretty happy with it. Connecting my Steamcontroller and PS4-controller was absolutely no problem. Yet I could'nt use more then one PS4-Controller in any games I tried. I could use them in the steam menu though.

As I intended to use the Steamlink for local multiplayer with 4 PS4-Controllers, what do I have to do to use more then one?, do I need some kind of xinput wrapper for that?

I didn't have to do anything special... Got two working just fine in skull girls and dolphin emu.

Have you made it work? i'm thinking of buying a steam link.. Right now my pc is connected to my tv.. but soon my pc will move to my office and then i still want to play on the tv..
I can right now use 4 ps4 controlleres via a BT dongle. I hope the link can do the same.

Yes, we've been playing with 4 ps4 pads via the steamlink bluetooth with no problems at all :) I've just registered them as "standard controllers", not as ps4 pads, because the steamUI didn't had a standard config for the digipads (everything had to be selected with the analog stick). But I think this is fixed now too. :)

All I can say after over a year (this was my impresion after 10min too):
- the steamlink is the BEST ""gaming console"" I ever had
- ps4 pads work the same way they do on the ps4 (you can start the steamlink + PC with them via bluetooth, the controller LED get different colours, etc.)
- awesome integration of emulators (+ps4 pad input) via ICE

PS: use a wired network connection :)
