Forza Horizon 3 Steam link

I'm trying to use my dualshock3 connected to the steam link to play FH3, bought on Windows store. But I cannot manage to make it work properly.

Any Clue?

You stream your desktop then you can play any non-steam game

Quite sure there are compatibility issues with windows store games and the lunk. Although they may have been resolved.

I just refunded the game a few days ago. Windows store sucks. Release FH3 on steam!

Won't happen. FH3 is probably selling decently on the Win store. It would be nice if steam and ms could work together to make UWP games link compatible.

Who knows. Quantum Break is the first step. I just want FH3 and GeoW4 on Steam :)

Whatever controller you want to use in game, leave hooked up to your PC. Minimize Steam Big Picture, Run Forza Horizon 3 and it will work. Of course if youre too far away it wont work lol. SOmetimes i wanna lay in bed and play pc games so i just leave my xbox elite controller connected to the pc and play wireless

It won't run the usual way, as controllers are configured as dinput while running uwp games via steam, but those need xinput.

Forza Horozon 3 runs wonderful on the steam link though, but i'm not using a Dualshock.
I have it running witth the steam controller, you need to install xoutput for the steam controller though: https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamController/comments/4b8zdp/xoutput_for_uwp_games/

It also runs fine with my cabled xbox360 pad or the wireless dongle and a xone controller, then I have to take the route via virtualhere, which runs flawless whith those controllers.

As others mentioned, if your pc isn't that far away that you can leave your controller connected to the pc, this will also work. If you can use another controller, which is connected via usb, then try via virtualhere.

Hey, do I have to install these programs to play game with X360 controller on Steam Link? I can get in to game but can't play with X360 gamepad.

You could try UWPHook. xoutput is for Steam Controller.

Still can't play with X360 gamepad. When I try to launch game it launches well but screen stays on Big Picture mode, I need to minimize Big Picture to get in game.

Btw I can play it normally on hosting PC without Steam Link but when I try to play via Link, I can't.
