Steam Link + Launchbox/BigBox + PCSX2 Controller Problem
Hi, I've spent around 3 days trying to find a solution to my problem, trawling forums here and on pcsx2's forum and launchboxes forum.

The problem is that my xbox one controller (wireless) is not being received by pcsx2 when I launch Bigbox through Steam Link.

On my PC pcsx2 works fine with another xbox one controller whether started on it's own or through Bigbox. I can even launch Steam BigPicture then launch Bigbox then Play ps2 games on the PC fine. It's just whenever I try to use steam link pcxs2 doesn't seem to recieve any input.

I should say that Bigbox and other emulators play ok through Steam Link with no controller issues.

I know this problem has been mentioned before but I can't seem to find an actual solution.

I had a similar issue with Big Box and MAME, so it may probably be the same problem. I solved it by running Steam as an Administrator (and I think also Big Box and the Emulator, but I'm not sure here).

Unfortunately, if you set Steam to be launched as admin, it won't run at windows startup on itself.. you could run it yourself, but that's not nice when you have a Wake on LAN setup like me. I however managed to find a simple application (can't find the link now) that can be put in the startup and launches a specific exe, and manages to do it even if the latter is set to start as admin.

Thanks - I'll give it a try but MAME is working fine as are a lot of other emulators including CEMU, which I've read can also be a problem.

check steams controller mapings for the emulators

or you can try virtualhere to give the pc control of the links usb ports

I had the problem with CEMU that it defaults to desktop mode config.
PCSX2 was just super slow for me, because of desktop capture.
I still have to test it but, but you can try to hide the log window (Misc -> Show console unchecked).
Start with --nogui --fullscreen

Already got the console window closed - it is a well known issue but it didn't fix my controller issues. Just going to try VirtualHere now will let you know if it works.

I just tried PCSX2 again and it still runs in slowmo. Controls are OK.
Also tried CEMU and it still works in desktop mode. Thumbstick is mouse and can't control in menu at all.

@blehz That sounds more like a controller setup/template/mapping error, i think i tried setting mine to gamepad for desktop mode.

Right, the good news, I've now got PCSX2 working fine with both a x360 wired controller and a xbox one s wireless controller (had to dig my dongle out of the pc to get it to work).
