Any idea if those chinese android boxes with Amlogic s905 x4 chips can handle 4k60 decoding without framedrops? They are fairly cheaper if compared to a Pi4 and a Shield Tv

50 USD for me with shipping, fully built, pretty much just plug and play with the latest Android TV 11 build preinstalled, 4gb of DDR3 and 32gb Rom
Pi4b 4gb costs the same 50usd just for the board, no Power, no case, no storage. Just the board. A fully built Pi4 will set you back arround 80-100 usd
This chip has a 101k score on antutu, arround half of what Tegra X1 T210 (Shield Tv Pro) pulls for arround 1/3 of the price.
I just wonder if it can pull out 4k60 decoding. I was watching some videos of ETA Prime messing with one of those chineses boxes with this very same chip and he wasnt disappointed, but no actual Steam Link tests were found.
For video playback, seems to be able to pull a smooth 4k experience with a 79gbps decoding from plex, i just don´t know if this compares to decoding a game stream from stream.

It´s a different look, but pretty much the same SoC.
From what i´ve been gathering, seems this specific SoC can do 4k60 with steam link. Been comparing its benchmarks with other similar chips that i know they can handle 4k60 and it seem to be completely fine.
imma roll the dice on this 50 usd box, seems promissing
