Help - How do I pair xBox 360 controller to samsung TV?
I've got Steam Link up and running and streaming to my TV. I can play games via the TV by hooking up my xBox One controller to the TV with a USB cable. But I'd like to be able to use a wireless controller. Looking at the Steam Link Samsung App info, it looks like the xBox One Controller will only work wired. But the App info says the xBox 360 controller should work wireless. I can't get my xBox 360 controller to pair with the TV. I know the xBox 360 controller doesn't use bluetooth. With this in mind, how the heck are you supposed to pair a samsung TV to a xBox 360 controller when it doesn't use bluetooth?

Thanks.

if the controller is wireless, you need a ms x360 dongle
(x360 wireless controller do not communicate with usb, they will only charge)
press the ))) buttons on the controller and dongle to pair them when the dongle is plugged into the tv

but check the samsung forums to see if the tv supports the x360 controllers

Darn. I was hoping that wasn't the answer. Assuming this is the case, they shouldn't advertise as compatible with xBox 360 wireless controller. Should say something like "compatible with xBox 360 wireless controller with adapter".

Regardless, thanks for the info.

wired x360 controller should work with it

fyi, the play&charge kit for the wireless controllers only charges the controller
